CPEC...A GAME CHANGER FOR WHOM?

Gateway of Asia ,Centre of business,tipping point for $46 billions ..Despite being the game changer ,there isn't a drop of water available for just to be alive in this smart city.
Prize for this development needed from the Residents is very much costly to be given.People would definitely prefer the previous underdeveloped Gwadar rather to face such hazardous and fatal conditions in the shadow of this on going progress.

One cannot understand the logic behind this water crisis..I mean..1 chamber costs nearly 10000..and a tanker of 30000...dying has become a blessing and surviving today in this city has really become a Curse for the people who are actually suffering.
If it is really a major issue so why the authorize people are still  silent or waiting for a never happening miricle?
Since last 5 years, the so called deligations in the name of survey and development projects come with a vip  protocol  just to allot plots for them because they are well aware of how  important this small city is.
Almost in 2010 a great inaugration ceremony was held of a mega project if Desalination plant in Carwat(area near Gwadar).A project of approximately 1 Arab has failed to provide a single gallon of water to the needy residents of Gwadar.
What the interesting thing in this issue is ,No one is there to ask them about where the money has gone and who has  got the honor and prestige to poket the money.
The water which is hardly granted to the residents which the people are compelled to drink  would not even be preferred to wash the Metros of Lahore.The number of diseases prevalent in the area has increased due to unsafe drinking water.The options are Drink and die or stay thirsty till death.One cannot understand  either to call this cruelty,injustice,mindlessness or Corruption.
The deep and natural sea port of Gwadar which had made it the centre of focus has become a curse for the local people as it is providing a peak profit to the whole Asia  but killing her own people.
Despite highlighting such hazardous and fatal problems which are being faced by the people ,only that aspect of coin is shown to the world which is in response to such injustice that is carrying banners,chanting slogans,holding rallies for demanding water that is unfortunately is than entitled to be called as "The Hatred for the Country".
It is seemed to be authorities have joined hands to punish  the innocent people for the sin they are unaware of by denying them water even for drinking .

CHANCE FOR BETTERMENT

The efforts of provincial government for educational development are praiseworthy espacially in the medical field by announcing three more medical colleges that are located in Turbat ,Khuzdar and Loralai respectively.As there is only one and only medical college in the Province for all districts that is not enough to cater to the demand for Medical education in the Province.

Consequently the approval approved some four years before but every starting limit in the pages of Newspaper,not reaching to  any official notice.Today the worth information someone can have is a glance on the medical colleges yet pending to get established. It was announced by the government that the classes would get started in march comming,but the march has approched  yet the system failed to clearify what in actual would get to happen.

The students having the merit difference of points are deprived of seats due to lack of platforms .they are still waiting for a miricle to happen so that they get a chance to fullfill their dreams and benify the country.

The failure of government has reached on its peak. As The only functioning of the only medical college "BMC" whose graduates distribution one by one regionally sounds fruitless because it over and over proved insufficient.

The lesser chance for medically wished future students  sometimes go in vain because of the narrow chanes for proceeding inward.

The educational systems failure to boot the causuality of backwardness in health department ,where education and health are the integral part for preparation of failure especially in an under developing province such as the great Balochistan where likewise the material found with no benefit provided just like the same with students where they even commit sucide with the day passed just for the failure of no chance for having the establishment in the failure in some even dreamed for.

Now is the time for every eye to turn questioning that ,where the students of Balochistan should go if they are suppose to remain plateformless.

If the government on this plateform turned there eyes forward without a glance over providing oppurtunity what worsen can be done to people here.

There is a dire need of colleges in Balochistan.there establishment provides a new hope for the people here.Its finally a request from every heart that its now the high time to bring in functioning what has been approved otherwise  one more year we get aside from better doctors who would get a chance in these medical colleges.

LET ME LIVE A DAY FEARLESS....

Once again the eyes turned wet,The father once again lost their shoulders,The mother once again seem their hope darken when the news spreaded like a wild fire that Quetta once again been on the nook of terror when the gun men entered the police training centre where the cadets even without imagining something like wise were gunned down .who leaving all a side were determinated for a chance of surving their nation...who believed to be safegaurd themselves remained unsafe.

Eventually ,Quetta over passed through the second worst blackday on 25th of oct 2016.First  doubtlessly was on 8th Aug an attack on a nation of lawyer through which our nation might not recover with in a span of years.
Shedding of blood in our vicinity has gotten to be the leading fashion,and something up to dates....We have gotten ourselves on the peak of terror attacks,target killings and every sort of evils which has been successful in weakening our roots.and made our foundation acidified in every prospection;if Edication, "the unforgetable attack on Army public school on 16th dec 2014.if justice,"A union of bodies of lawyers were burried on the same land worthly on the 8th Aug 2016 in Quetta".and if on defence"the militents who one over one were shooted on 25th oct 2016 by the one always controvertial.
The circumtance we are surrouded by has made our country one among the most unsafe one for someone to pass their livelihood.
If the pen is always down the page then resultantly we get every of our sufferings saved in the pages of history.
Isn't it become a fact that whenever there is an attack ,that is on the educated people of our country? Either that is an attack on the innocent students of A.P.S peshawar,lawyers or the militents.
If you want to defeat a country ,hit its backbone that is education.same is being with us .our education is targeted directly or indirectly.
52% of the total children aged 5 to 16 years are out of school in Balochistan.which comes to around 67,781.67% of the girls have never been to school.due to countless reasons which includes but not limited to poverty,bad education system,lack of apportunities etc.The remaining who from a very hazardous path finaly come to a phase of serving the nation they are served by a bullet in return.And what they get from us is just 2 minutes silence,3 days mourning,a strike,a news headline and just few lacs who had millions of hopes if remained alive.
That was a time when we were used to taught that"the roots of education are bitter but the fruit is sweet"BUT..unfortunately before the ripening of fruit the tree is beheaded.
And hatts off to our great leaders.for whom the blood shedding of innocent people has just become a game that is individually played by everyone just to wash there sins by the blood of sinless nation.and pretend to be our well wishers.
Always confirmed by our leaders that the conditions are under controlled but when?
Just within the gap between two attacks?
To consulate something on the behalf of ideological mentality,we are always attacked on the side where our lives vanishes in improving.

AM I ALWAYS GOING TO BE DECIDED BY YOU?

A diverging evolution seems to raise with an issued notification by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council(PMDC) that "Only the students with 70 percentage in FSC are eligible for the entry test in any medical complex across pakistan.
The news seems to be a very positive decision as it provides a chance only to capable and merit based students who burn midnight oil and score 70 %or more then that.
However coming over Baloochistan, the news is  partially alarming in the minds of students of Balochistan who are  desiring to appear in the test with blessed percentage by the Balochistan Board even less then 65 %.
Yes,the students of Balochistan which when appear in Balochistan board exams are always honoured by marks of less then 60 % but the same students when appear in fedral score more then 90%.
   Resultantly its not approaching for everyone to accumulate their proceeding curriculum there since  education there sounds so expensive and is not afford able for  people inhibited in balochistan.
And obviously the education system of Balochistan is hidden to non.More then 50% of the schools have become ghost infrastructures.
Private schools some how provide a better education but is unaffordable.It is known to every resident of Balochistan that poverty has always been a stopping feature for the poverty-sticken families who don't even have any source of livelihood. It is an open secrete that more than 55% of the population in Balochistan lives under poverty line which is one of the major obstacle in the path of education.Poverty has paralyzed the lives of people here.The parents who  cannot even send there children in a local government schools would how think of sending them to such  an institution for quality education to fullfill the daily high  variable  percentages of our medical colleges and other universities.
Eventually,before the streaming notification by the authorised authority,students were just bounded for the application out of Balochistan.Now this revolved the student's mentality depressed that they no more be applicable for applying even in Balochistan especially in BMC where every student from Balochistan has stuck his eye on.
In comparison ,it is something that may not be bad to utilize that the students from federal with the average percentages of 80 to 90% come in the phase of competition with the students over ride with the average percentages of 65 to hardly 70%.From here it crystal clears that  it is an imense casualty for the students with an academic background of backwardness of balochistan.
Leaving all others,the different levels of competitions on the same plateform is a cherry on the cake.It is really something good to limit the level of appearance in the test ,but before notification the authorized authority must have a look on the result approved by the Balochistan board what the average percentage is...
A turtle can defeat a rabbit in just stories in case the rabbit sleeps...If the  competition is the same and the required criteria is maximized atleast provide us a same plateform,same quality education and same capable teachers..then let us compete and see the result.
Give us an efficient input, we will give you double efficient  output INSHALLAH...
Then raise your criteria  on the peak , yet you will get your demand fulfilled

DO YOU WANT A FULL STOP IN MEDICINE?

Balochistan sounds to be the most deprived in the thriving section of education especially in the field of medicine.It won't remain judgemental to utter that since the establishment of Balochistan ,it has just been blessed with a only medical university which whether fortunately or that is misfortunate that the location seems to over ride over the residients of Balochistan around,which is somewhat unreaching from the opposite angle.
   The alloted seats went vacant for the reason ,non was capable enough to apply for,in early 21st century.
From there on,a flooding revolution seems to appear since 2002 when someone from Minority got to be the light in glooming night for the students desiring to have approach over the field of medicine.who was none other than the very familiar Dr.Manoj Kumar Pahuja ,who from very terrible conditions today remain to be the honour of the very successful Doctor's Academy allocated in the vicinity of Quetta.
It was for sure a time taking work ,it might have been a very challenging effort, but it prolonged continued till the very day(2016).
Eventually ,from Dr's Academy future proceeders (students)not only appeared to succeed just in the test of BMC ,but also carried the province in National  level by reknowing themselves as a merit based holder in Medical colleges and universities accross Pakistan.
Previously there have been limited students for testing ,but now the students proved to cross all the provinces.the causility is not hidden to anyone that for 217 seats approximately 3000 students appear in the test  where more than 2000 relate to Dr. Manoj's Academy.
Resultantly ,the result is clear like a sunny day.The ranking from lowest reached the highest peak just with in the time spin of 14 years.
Consequently,the gambling of people to mean surelly means aimless,or time wasting based on recent controvercies that Dr. Manoj kumar remain corruptive on the feature that he is interlinked with the authority conduct tests and tells his students before appearing in the test from which portion the test is manifest.
Nothing can be more useless than something like this because it is the responsiblity of a literated or mature mind that "practice makes a man perfect".
A person from so long have been engulfed in the same sort of work .If he yet does not know how it is done?then it won't be wrong to quote that it's no mean of doing that.
Necessarily ,it's a fact,that  whenever it is of benefiting the Baloch nation,this is never digested by ownselves too.Therefore ,whenever something is going from good to better the inner conflict among the hatred is born and this really brings dimensional distruction to the lives of students .
Moving from a hazardous path along in his journey,which even compelled  him to move from where he initiated these all,Yet has spiritual honesty and thought of doing better to best  provoked him with such a sort of education which is an introduction to the era of technology in a province like Balochistan.

State of Education in Gwadar

If we talk about the state of education in Gwader so we receive a very disappointing result. Lack of access to quality education among the poorest and among girls, is preventing thousands of people from escaping the cycle of extreme poverty in Gwader. The government had promised to involve the local people of Gwader in its every development project by providing those jobs and other opportunities; however, no steps have been taken regarding this since the establishment of seaport in 2004.

Twelve years have passed but no technical institutions, medical colleges and other schools are established here that can provide a quality education to the people of Gwader so that they can be competent to participate in the development of their city. They are deprived of getting education. The lack of technical education is the biggest flaw in the educational policy that has never been focused here. Therefore less technical people means less progress.

Secondly, the government has established several schools but it can bring no change until the quality of education is focused. A poor quality education is imparted to the students in Govt schools. The teachers in government schools are not well trained. People who do not get jobs in any other sectors; they try their luck in education field those are not professionally trained. However, professionally more trained people can educate the people to build a good nation.
Poverty is another factor that restricts the parents to send their children to public or private sector and hand over trial jobs to them to earn few bucks at home.

The more alarming issue is the insufficient use of allocated funds with high proportions remaining unspent contributing little to good quality education and pocketed by corrupt elements. Government is not sincere about the education in Gwader and investing minimal amount of funds to this sector which is quite pathetic.

Estimating the value of education, the federal and provincial government should take solid steps on this issue. Implementation instead of projecting policies should be focused. Allocation of funds should be made easy from province to district and then to educational institutions.

The greater participation of educated people of Gwader in the economy and political process would lead to a better world today as well as future generation. And our leaders should realize that no society can progress by restricting more than half of the population in the abyss of ignorance and a maze of undue limits. If quality education is provided to the people of Gwader sincerely so the expected result would appear in the coming years.

اخبارات ہوں یا ٹی وی چینلز ہر جگہ گوادر کی ترقی کے بڑے چرچے ہیں ١ور اس کی تشہیر میں زمین و آسمان ایک کیا جا رہا ہے جس کے تحت گوادر کو گیٹ وے آف ایشیاء قرار دینے کے ساتھ ساتھ دیگر کئ ترقی یافتہ ممالک کے ہم پلہ شہروں کے برابر درجہ  بندی کی جا رہی ہے۔لیکن دراصل حقیقت اس کے بالکل بریکس ہے۔ گوادر جس میں مستقبل  کے کئ سہانے خواب دکھائے جارہے ہیں درحقیقت کئ مشکلوں سے دوچار ہے ۔جن میں سب سے بڑا مسلہ پانی کا ہے۔ بگ سٹی قرار دینے والے گوادر میں پانی کا بہت بڑا بہران آگیا ہےجس نےپورے شہر کو اپنی لپیٹ میں لے لیا ہے۔جس سے انسانی المیے کا بہت بڑا خطرہ ہے۔پھچلے تین مہینوں سے لوگ ڈیم کا بچا کچا کھارا اور کڑوا پانی پی رہیں ہیں۔جس سے طرح طرح کی بیماریاں پھیل چکی ہیں اور کئ جانیں بھی جاچکی ہیں۔لیکن اب یہ حالت ہو گئ ہے کہ یہی کڑوا پانی بھی میسر نہیں ہے۔ اندازے کے مطابق اگر ایک دو دن میں پانی کا انتظام نہ ہوا تو درجنوں کی تعداد میں لوگوں کی جانیں جانا شروع ہو جائیں گی۔ پبلک ہیلتھ کیئر کے مطابق انہوں نے چھ مہینے پہلے صوبائ حکومت کو وارننگ دی تھی۔کہ ڈیم کا پانی جلد ہی ختم ہونے والا ہے۔ان کا کہنا تھا کء وہ صوبائ حکومت کوہر مہینے یہ الٹیمیٹم دیتے رہیں ہیں کہ دسمبر تک ڈیم کا پانی بالکل خشک ہو جاے گا۔لیکن حکومت کے کان میں جوں تک نہ رینگی۔ان کو کوئ لینا دینا نہیں عام جیے یا مرے۔چونکہ انہیں پتہ تھا کہ دسمبر تک ان کی حکومت ختم ہوجاےگی لہازا انہوں نے ایسے کوئ بہی اقدامات نہیں کیے جن سے انسانیت کا بھلا ہو۔ ڈھائ سال میں بلوچستان میں صرف پانی کا مسلہ حل نہیں ہو سکا۔اس حکومت سے اور کس بات کی امید لگائ جاسکتی ہے؟ ہاں۔ترقی کا کام زوروشور سے چل رہا ہے۔یعنی جنگلات میں کئ سڑکیں بنائ گئ ہیں جن میں جناح ایونیو جو کہ جورکان تک جاتا ہے براڈوے ایونیو دربیلا تک مند ایونیو جیونی اور پشکان ایونو وغیرہ شامل ہیں۔ جن پر سے شاید جانوروں کے سوا کوئ نہیں گزرتا۔اور اب ریگستان کی مٹی سے ڈھب چکے ہیں۔کوئ ان سے یہ تک پوچھنے والا نہیں ہے کہ جنگلات میں روڈز بنانے کا کیا مطلب ہے؟؟؟عوام کا یہ پیسہ ایسے کیوں ضائع ہو رہا ہے۔ ان میں سے ایک ایونیو کا پیسہ بھی اگر یہاںلگایا  گیا ہوتا تو چار سے پانچ ڈیم با آسانی بن گئے ہوتے۔اور آج یو کوئ بھی پانی کی ایک بوند کو نہیں ترستا۔اور اگر روڈز بنانے ہی ہیں تو گوادر سٹی کے  اندر بنائے جایئں جہاں ابھی موٹرسائکل کے گزرنے تک کا راستہ نہیں ہے۔جگہ جگہ سڑکیں ٹوٹی ہوئ ہیں۔گٹر کا پانی روڈز پر آنے کی  وجہ سے تالاب بن چکا ہے۔مگر افسوس انہیں عوام سے کوئ سروکار نہیں ہے۔ ٢٠١٣ میں بھی ایسا ہی ایک بحران آیا تھااجب گورنمنٹ نے ٥٠ کروڑ سے زیادہ کا پیسا خرچ کر کے ٹینکرز کےذریے شہر تک پانی سپلائ کیا تہا۔پاکستان کی تاریخ میں پہلی بار ہی شاید ایسا ہوا ہو کہ پورے شہر کو ٹینکروں کے ذریعے پانی فراہم کیا گیا ہو۔لیکن اس کے باوجود ہمارے لیڈروں کو کوئ فرق نہیں پڑا۔ گوادر میں یہ جو پانی میٹھا کرنے کا پلاٹ بن رہا ہے یہ تقریباً 10 قبل شروع کیا گیا تھااور 80 کروڑ سے زیادہ روپے اس پر خرچ ہوئے ہیں۔لیکن آج تک اس سے شہریوں کو ایک بھی لیٹر پانی نہیں ملا۔اور پلاٹ جیسا تھا ویسا کا ویسا ہے۔نجانے یہ پیسے کس کس کی جیب میں گئے ہیں۔ یہ جو روزانہ وزٹ  کے نام پر  deligations آتے ہیں جن کو پروٹوکول دینے میں ہمارا پورا انتظامیہ لگا ہوا ہے یہاں یہاں آکر صرف اور صرف زمینیں اپنے نام پر کرکے چلے جاتے ہیں۔اوراخبار کے فرنٹ پیج پر ان کا نام ایسے چھپتا ہے جیسے کہ انہوں نے وطن کے لیے اپنی جان تک قربان کردی ہو۔ فری ٹریڈ زون ایکسپریس وے انٹرنیشنل ائیرپورٹ جیسے بڑے بڑے میگا پروجیکٹس کی بات کرتے ہیں لوگ جہاں پانی پینے کو بھطی دستیاب نہیں وہاں ایسے پروجیکٹس کیسے بنیں گے؟ یہ ساری باتیں صرف خیالی پلاؤ پکانے کے مثل ہیں۔ ابھی بھی وقت ہے اگر حکومت چاھے تو کیا نہیں ہوسکتا۔صرف شادی کور ڈیم سے اگر پائپ لائن لگادی جائے تو چند روپوں میں پوری زندگی گوادر کے پانی کا مسلہ حل ہو جائگا۔ اکیسوی صدی میں جینے کے باوجود ہماری یہ حالت ہے کہ اگر بارش نہ ہو تو تو لوگ پیاس سے یعنی پانی کی قلت سے  مرتے ہیں۔اور اگر بارش ہوجاے تو ڈوب کر یعنی سیلاب کی ذد میں آکر ایک ساتھ کئ جانیں جاتی ہیں۔ اگر ڈیم بنائیں جائیں تو نہ ہی پانی کا کبھی بحران آئےگا اور نہ ہی سیلابیں۔لیکن شرط یہ ہے کہ کسی میں ہمارے لیے کچھ کرنے کا ازم ہو۔مگر ہم امید کے سوا اور کچھ نہیپ کرسکتے۔بس دعا کرسکتے ہیں کہ ﷲ پاک ہمارے حکمرانوں کو تھوڑا سا شعور اور تھوڑی ایمانداری عطا فرمادے تاکہ وہ زیادہ نہیں تو کم از کم کچھ نہ کچھ اپنی قوم کے لیے ضرور کریں۔                 آمین BY:RIFFAT A.WAHAB BALOCH
